LIN GATHRIGHT is an accomplished actor, founder and co-artistic director of The Fire Weeds. Born and raised in New Orleans, Lin spent much of her life in New York City, working in theater and film. She also gained international acclaim as the burlesque sensation, Bunny Love. Upon returning to New Orleans in 2014, Lin found a multitude of opportunities in television, film, and particularly in theater, performing with organizations such as Southern Rep, The Tennessee Williams Theater Company and Theater at St Claude. As the pandemic reshaped the theater landscape, it also opened the door for new possibilities. Lin and Jaclyn met while working on a Tennessee Williams show. They shared a vision for innovative storytelling through the female gaze. There was tangible need for this and The Fire Weeds was born, pushing boundaries and creating powerful, thought-provoking theater that resonates with modern audiences.

Founding members include Grace Caroline Curley, Sarah Schuler, Adachi Pimentel, Amara Skinner, Stacy Scaborough and Hanna Hall. The Fire Weeds have employed 50+ diverse artists in New Orleans and New York City.
